AAUW Washington State Public Policy Chair Dixie
Swenson. She spoke about two topics - the vigorously
debated recent transformation of our National
organization and the immediate public policy issues
facing voters in the November
election.
October, 2007- Professor
Laura Koutsky, PhD, of the University of Washington
Epidemiology
Department, School of Public Health and Community
Medicine, spoke on The New HPV
Vaccine and the research behind it in our own back
yard In addition to our Saturday morning meeting, we
held an evening Networking Reception in a member's home,
inviting members at large (MAL's) to join our members in
sharing experiences and learn more about Seattle
Branch.

expert Loveday Conquest on a tour to Regency
England and the land and people of Pride and
Prejudice
